By introducing wrappers for them in the curlx namespace:
`curlx_fopen()`, `curlx_fdopen()`, `curlx_fclose()`.
The undefine/redefine/`(function)()` methods broke on systems
implementing these functions as macros. E.g. AIX 32-bit's `fopen()`.
Also:
- rename `lib/fopen.*` to `lib/curl_fopen.*` (for `Curl_fopen()`)
to make room for the newly added `curlx/fopen.h`.
- curlx: move file-related functions from `multibyte.c` to `fopen.c`.
- tests/server: stop using the curl-specific `fopen()` implementation
on Windows. Unicode isn't used by runtests, and it isn't critical to
run tests on longs path. It can be re-enabled if this becomes
necessary, or if the wrapper receives a feature that's critical for
test servers.

Turns out the signal handler on Windows still wasn't signal safe after
the previous round of fix. There is an `open()` call made from there,
and `open` happens to be unconditionally overridden via `curl_setup.h`
on Windows, to its local implementation (`curlx_win32_open()`), which
does memory allocations and potentially other things that are not signal
safe.
This is a temporary fix, till avoiding the override of system symbols
`open` and `stat` on Windows.
FTR this did not fix the CI 2304 errors, diskspace fail or job hangs due
to 0xC0000142 fork failure (it's rare all three occurs in the same run):

Before this patch `accept4()`, `socket()`, `socketpair()`, `send()` and
`recv()` system symbols were remapped via macros, using the same name,
to local curl debug wrappers. This patch replaces these overrides by
introducing curl-namespaced macros that map either to the system symbols
or to their curl debug wrappers in `CURLDEBUG` (TrackMemory) builds.
This follows a patch that implemented the same for `accept()`.
The old method required tricks to make these redefines work in unity
builds, and avoid them interfering with system headers. These tricks
did not work for system symbols implemented as macros.
The new method allows to setup these mappings once, without interfering
with system headers, upstream macros, or unity builds. It makes builds
more robust.
Also:
- checksrc: ban all mapped functions.
- docs/examples: tidy up checksrc rules.

In WebAssembly, using `TCP_NODELAY` fails with:
```
* Could not set TCP_NODELAY: Protocol not available
```
Add a new feature macro in `curl_setup.h` telling whether `TCP_NODELAY`
is known to be supported at runtime, when defined at compile-time.
Keep `TCP_NODELAY` guards at their current positions to ensure the
necessary headers (e.g. `netinet/tcp.h` and `netinet/in.h`) define it.

- tests: merge cmake commands.
- tests: use `target_compile_definitions()`.
- tests/server: use generator expression for platform-specific macro.
- tests/unit: sync `Makefile.am` comment with cmake.
- tests/unit: merge two `AM_CPPFLAGS` lines to keep synced with cmake.
- tests: move macro definitions to `first.h` headers from build level.
`CURL_NO_OLDIES`, `CURL_DISABLE_DEPRECATION`, `WITHOUT_LIBCURL`,
`CURL_STATICLIB` (for servers).
To share more logic.
Pass `CURL_STATICLIB` in server on all platforms for simplicity.
(On non-Windows, it's a no-op. It's already done like this with curlu
and libcurltool.)
Also for lib:
- lib: merge commands.
- lib: sync macro order with tests (also in `Makefile.am`).
Closes#17768
Before this patch we explicitly linked the full list of libcurl
dependency libs to tests and examples via `CURL_LIBS`. This was
redundant, because test and example code do not directly use these
dependency libs and for indirect use they are implicitly passed
via libcurl as needed. After this patch, tests and examples only link
explicitly to system libs (e.g. socket).
Also bringing it closer to how `./configure` does this.
Borrow the variable name `CURL_NETWORK_AND_TIME_LIBS` from
`./configure`. However, its content is not exactly the same. With cmake
it also holds `pthread`, but doesn't hold AmiSSL.

- codespell: install via `pip`, bump to latest version.
- codespell: show version number in CI log.
- codespell: drop no longer needed word exception: `msdos`.
- codespell: include all curl source tree, except `packages` and
`winbuild`. Drop an obsolete file exclusion.
- add new spellchecker job using the `typos` tool. It includes
the codespell dictionary and a couple more. Use linuxbrew to install
it. This takes 10 seconds, while installing via `cargo` from source
would take over a minute.
- codespell: introduce an inline ignore filter compatible with `cspell`
Make `typos` recognize it, too. Move single exceptions inline.
Fix new typos found. Also rename variables and words to keep
spellchecking exceptions at minumum. This involves touching some tests.

This callback was permanently mapped to libcurl's internal
`Curl_wcsdup()`, which always uses the customizable malloc for
allocation, thus making a custom mapping redundant anyway.
To simplify, drop the callback and map `_tcsdup()` in Unicode mode
directly to `Curl_wcsdup()`.
Also fixes:
- `curl_global_init()` which, before this patch, (re)initialized its
mapping to `_wcsdup()`, returning buffers potentially incompatible
with a custom allocator.

Tidy up headers and includes to ensure all individual test source
compile cleanly (but not link). To allow running clang-tidy (and
possibly other static analyzers) on them. It also improves readability
and allows to verify them locally, without the bundle logic.
clang-tidy ignores #included C files, so it's blind to bundle C files
the include these tests. The current workaround of embedding has
a couple of downsides:. meaningless filenames and line numbers,
missing issues, messing up self header paths. Thus, running it on
individual sources would be beneficial.
Also:
- de-duplicate includes.
- untangle some includes.
- formatting/indentation fixes.
- merge `getpart.h` into `first.h`.

Derive it from `$BUNDLE` instead. autotools seems to be already relying
on `$BUNDLE_SRC` being equal to `$BUNDLE.c`. (I haven't realized this

The `#undef` hack is no longer necessary after changing the redifitions
to not map back to the original symbols.
This makes it unnecessary to repeat the redefinitions after compiling
`warnless.c` itself (in unity mode).
Which in turns makes it unnecessary to include `warnless.h` again, to
trigger such redefinition.
This also means that `read`/`write` are now redefined on Windows from
the first inclusion of `warnless.h`.
Also:
- tests/server: drop a repeat `warnless.h` include, that is unnecessary
after this patch.
- tests/unit: drop repeat `warnless.h` include.
- tests/libtest: drop repeat `warnless.h` includes.

I added it just in case when removing enabled-by-default memdebug

Instead of relying on CMake's built-in unity feature, use `mk-unity.pl`,
as already done with autotools. It simplified the build, shortens logs
and makes debugging easier because of the fewer build variations.
It also allows testing / fixing with cmake and those automatically apply
to autotools builds too. cmake builds can be much-much faster, esp.
when working the builds themselves.
It also enables "unity" in old cmake versions. Basically every test
target is a single generated .c source.
Also:
- drop a `lib` unity workaround for libtests with autotools after fixing
the issue in libtests itself. It drops a few exceptions and makes
libcurl build faster (in autotools unity).
- fix another `lib` autotools unity issue and drop the workaround for it
from `mk-unity.pl`. `srcdir` was missing from the header path.
- simplify `mk-unity.pl` command-lines, drop exclusions.

Make test bundles the default. Drop non-bundle build mode.
Also do all the optimizations and tidy-ups this allows, simpler builds,
less bundle exceptions, streamlined build mechanics.
Also rework the init/deinit macro magic for unit tests. The new method
allows using unique init/deinit function names, and calling them with
arguments. This is in turn makes it possible to reduce the use of global
variables.
Note this drop existing build options `-DCURL_TEST_BUNDLES=` from cmake
and `--enable-test-bundles` / `--disable-test-bundles` from autotools.
Also:
- rename test entry functions to have unique names: `test_<testname>`
This removes the last exception that was handled in the generator.
- fix `make dist` to not miss test sources with test bundles enabled.
- sync and merge `tests/mk-bundle.pl` into `scripts/mk-unity.pl`.
- mk-unity.pl: add `--embed` option and use it when `CURL_CLANG_TIDY=ON`
to ensure that `clang-tidy` does not miss external test C sources.
(because `clang-tidy` ignores code that's #included.)
- tests/unit: drop no-op setup/stop functions.
- tests: reduce symbol scopes, global macros, other fixes and tidy-ups.
- tool1621: fix to run, also fix it to pass.
- sockfilt: fix Windows compiler warning in certain unity include order,
by explicitly including `warnless.h`.

Using a mixture of techniques to avoid symbols collisions:
- reduce scope.
- add `t*_` / `T*_` prefix.
- move shared functions to `testutil.c`.
(`suburl()`, `rlim2str()`)
- clone re-used lib*.c sources.
(lib587, lib645)
- include shared symbols just once in re-used `lib*.c` sources.
(using `LIB*_C` guards.)
- drop re-used `lib*.c` sources where they were identical or
unused.
- make macros global.
- #undef macros before use.
What remain is the entry functions `test`, and `unit_setup`,
`unit_stop` in unit tests.
Also:
- fix formatting and other minor things along the way.
- add `const` where possible.
- sync some symbol names between tests.
- drop `mk-bundle-hints.sh` that's no longer necessary.
